If you're graduating in South Africa, FNB's Graduate Programme applications are open right now, and they close on 31 August 2026.
Here's what makes this one worth paying attention to: these aren't just internships. FNB says the graduate roles are permanent full-time positions. (FirstRand Careers)
Two routes worth checking
There are actually two separate programmes here, and it's worth applying to whichever one — or both — fit your degree.
1. The FNB Graduate Programme
The broader programme is looking at students from fields like:
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Data Science
- Engineering
- Maths
- Statistics
- Actuarial Science
- UX
- Commerce
- and related degrees
2. The Engineering & Technology Graduate Programme
This one is specifically for students in engineering, IT, and Computer Science. It puts graduates into teams building real banking technology — software development and testing, architecture, and running technology systems. (FirstRand Careers)
Who qualifies
You need to be in your final year or completing postgraduate studies. FNB specifically asks for your CV and your latest academic transcript as part of the application — don't leave the transcript request until the last minute, university admin offices can take days to issue one.
Deadline: applications close 31 August 2026.
Where to apply
Apply through the official FirstRand Careers links — no recruiter, no third-party form:
