WHY I’M BUILDING THIS

I have these
questions too.

How do you build a career you’re proud of? Get better with money? Start something of your own? Build stronger relationships? Find your feet when life doesn’t go to plan?

These are questions I have myself. And I know I’m not the only one.

The ATB Show is where we work through life’s challenges by learning from people who have found a way forward.

Our mission

Help young people win at life by learning together from real experiences, putting lessons into action and sharing practical ways forward.

Our vision

A generation of young people building lives they’re proud of and helping each other get there.

THE PEOPLE. THEIR STORIES. THEIR DECISIONS.

A win worth
learning from.

Every guest brings a win worth learning from. They might have built a business, broken into an industry, mastered a skill or rebuilt their life after a setback. Nobody has everything figured out. But someone has figured out something that could help the rest of us.

I want to understand the person: where they started, what they were facing, and why they made the decisions that brought them here.

My job is to get curious and get into the details. What worked? What went wrong? Who helped? What did it cost? What came down to luck? And if we were starting today, what would we actually do?

Akhil sharing ideas from the stage
ASKING QUESTIONS. LEARNING ALONGSIDE YOU.

LET’S TRY IT TOGETHER

Then we put those
lessons to work.

Getting a job.

If we’re talking about getting a job, let’s pull up a real CV and work on it.

Building a business.

If we’re talking about building a business, let’s work through an actual idea.

Understanding investing.

If I’m trying to understand investing, I want to go through the process with the guest and understand the decisions as I make them.

I’ll ask questions, try things and share what I learn along the way.

YOUR EPISODE COMPANION · FREE WITH EACH EPISODE

And you’ll get
my notes.

The things I wrote down. The advice that challenged my thinking. What I want to try myself. Alongside those notes, we’ll turn the conversation into practical frameworks and roadmaps you can use in your own life.

My personal notes
What stood out, what changed my thinking and what I’m taking into my own life.
A practical framework
A way to understand the challenge and work through your options.
Your roadmap
Steps and resources to help you put what you learned into practice.

The show is coming soon. My notes, frameworks and roadmaps will be shared in a free Action Sheet with each episode when it launches.

ILLUSTRATIVE ROADMAP · CAREERS

Turn a skill into
something you can show.

Your goal: create one piece of work that shows what you can do.

  1. Choose your direction.Find a role you’d love to grow into. Pick one skill it asks for.
  2. Make something small.Use that skill to solve a real problem. A simple project is enough to start.
  3. Learn from feedback.Show your work to someone in the field. Ask what would make it stronger.
My step this week

I’ll make ______ and ask ______ for feedback by ______.

This is an example roadmap. Each episode’s companion will come from the actual conversation and my notes.

I’M ON THAT JOURNEY TOO

I want young
people to win.

This starts with young Africans and welcomes anyone trying to find their way forward.

I’m on that journey too. And if we can learn from people who’ve made progress, put those lessons into action and share what works, we can help each other move forward.

That’s The ATB Show. Let’s win together.

SOMETHING IN MIND?

Let’s talk.
